Job summary

Doctolib, a mission-driven healthcare technology company founded in Paris, seeks a Product Design Director to own the patient experience design vision across Europe. You will lead the Patient stream, shaping AI-driven, transparent interfaces and coordinating with Product, Engineering, Medical and Data leadership.

You will build a high-performing design organisation, scale design decisions to multiple markets, and ensure the patient journey remains accessible, trusting and impactful throughout

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product design, 3+ years in people leadership.
• Experience in a consumer product organisation used by millions.
• Experience managing at least five Product Designers.
• Strong product design craft and creative judgement; ability to raise standards.
• Understanding of AI-native product experiences and trust.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the design vision for the Patient stream.
• Bridge core access-to-care with new reasons for patients to return.
• Raise the quality bar for product design and content across the patient experience.
• Stay close to the product to make high-quality design decisions.
• Shape AI-native experiences including recommendations and conversational interfaces.
• Establish design principles for transparency and safety in healthcare.
• Build and scale a high-performing design organisation.
• Enable cross-functional collaboration across Design, Product, Engineering, Medical, Data and Business.
• Scale coherent experience across countries, languages and healthcare contexts.
• Link design decisions to user behaviour and business impact.
