Mistral AI in Europe is seeking a Lead Documentation Engineer to define the strategic vision for all technical documentation. You will shape documentation UX, standards, and processes, aligning with product roadmaps and user needs.

You will build and lead a team of technical writers, partner with Product, Engineering and Support, and drive a docs-as-code approach to accelerate delivery and quality across APIs, SDKs, tutorials and release notes.

Qualifications

7+ years in technical writing / developer education, with 4+ years leading teams or defining documentation strategies.
Experience with AI/ML concepts is a strong plus.
Proficiency in Markdown, Git, and technical CMS (Docusaurus, Sphinx).

Responsabilités

Define and execute a comprehensive documentation strategy aligned with product roadmaps and business objectives.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of technical writers.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Support to embed docs in the development lifecycle.
Create guidelines for tone, structure, and accessibility across APIs, SDKs, tutorials, and release notes.
Track documentation impact using metrics and user feedback.
