Mistral AI is seeking a Senior Technical Writer / Developer Educator to drive developer-facing documentation quality across APIs, SDKs, tutorials, and deployment guides. You will work closely with Engineering, Product and Support to validate content and ensure it helps developers integrate and deploy Mistral products.

You’ll own editorial voice, information architecture, and standards, test features before writing, and advocate for clarity and user experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical writing, developer documentation, or developer education.
• Ability to write for APIs, deployment guides, code examples, system architecture.
• Experience validating technical accuracy through hands-on testing and experimentation.
• Familiar with Markdown, Git, and tools (Docusaurus, Sphinx, or similar).
• Experience with API testing (Postman, curl, or REST clients).
• Fluent English; French is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Author and maintain high-quality, technically accurate documentation for APIs, SDKs, tutorials, deployment guides, and release notes.
• Contribute to documentation strategy and content roadmap, identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
• Develop a clear, consistent editorial voice and narrative approach across documentation.
• Create information architecture and content structures for complex technical topics, especially on-premises deployment scenarios.
• Test all APIs, features, and deployment workflows before documenting.
• Validate documentation by reproducing user workflows; catch inaccuracies and unclear instructions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to understand feature scope and deployment complexities.
• Gather feedback from Support and users to identify documentation pain points.
• Advocate for clarity and user experience in product design and documentation decisions.
• Use Markdown, Git, headless CMS, and AI tools to streamline production.
