Mistral AI is seeking a Developer Education Lead to define the strategic vision for all technical documentation. You will structure content for users, developers, and partners and build a team of technical writers.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to embed documentation early in the lifecycle, adopt docs-as-code, and drive editorial excellence. Fluency in English is required; French is a bonus.

Qualifications

7+ years in technical writing / developer education.
3+ years leading teams or defining documentation strategies (AI, SaaS, or complex software preferred).
Experience with AI/ML concepts is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

Define and execute a comprehensive documentation strategy aligned with product roadmaps and business objectives.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of technical writers.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to embed documentation early in the lifecycle.
Establish guidelines for tone, structure, and accessibility across APIs, SDKs, tutorials, and release notes.
Track documentation effectiveness through metrics, user feedback, and support data.
Stay updated on trends in technical documentation and AI-assisted content.
