Job summary

SMBC Group EMEA is seeking a Corporate Credit Trader (Director) for the Sales & Trading, Global Markets, Credit Group. You will lead trading of investment grade corporate securities across EUR, USD and G10 markets and support primary and secondary market activities.

You will collaborate with traders, sales, DCM originators and syndicate partners to distribute new issues, manage risk and develop trading strategies that enhance the desk’s P&L.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in corporate credit trading with strong P&L performance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage risk and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Distributing primary transactions and providing liquidity in secondary markets.
• Contributing positively to trading P&L.
• Collaborating with global teams including DCM, sales, and syndicate.
