Just a Drop is seeking a Development Officer to join our Fundraising and Communications team in a hybrid role. The role involves developing proposals to trusts and foundations, managing our pipeline in Salesforce, and supporting major events such as Golf Day, World Travel Market, and Travel United Cup.

You will assist the Business Development Manager in growing corporate partnerships across travel, hospitality, sustainability and responsible business, while representing the charity at industry

• Develop and take responsibility for proposals to trusts and foundations, with support from the Head of Fundraising and Communications, managing our pipeline and funder records on Salesforce.

Responsabilités

• Develop and take responsibility for proposals to trusts and foundations, with support from the Head of Fundraising and Communications, managing our pipeline and funder records on Salesforce.
• Provide support for Just a Drop events, particularly our annual Golf Day (September), World Travel Market (November) and Travel United Cup event (May). This includes supporting with event recruitment, liaison and logistics
• Support the Business Development Manager in growing Just a Drop’s corporate partnership pipeline across sectors including travel, hospitality, sustainability and responsible business: providing relevant research; supporting outreach; prepare pitches and presentations; and attend meetings where appropriate
• Represent Just a Drop at industry events, networking opportunities, conferences and partner events, building relationships with potential supporters, corporate contacts and sector stakeholders
• Support the effective management and development of Just a Drop’s Salesforce system (Flow)
• Attend occasional evening and out-of-office events where required to support relationship building and charity visibility, acting as an enthusiastic ambassador for Just a Drop’s mission and impact
• Provide support across the Just a Drop Fundraising and Communications team, across a range of tasks, helping us to grow our income
• Keep up to date with fundraising trends, emerging funding opportunities and sector best practice, sharing ideas that help Just a Drop continue to grow
• Any other duties relevant to the role
