JFS of Metrowest seeks a Development Officer, Annual Fund to strengthen philanthropic support, community engagement, and outreach. You will manage a portfolio of donors, cultivate relationships, and craft compelling content that highlights the agency's impact and opportunities to get involved.

Working with senior leadership, you will plan campaigns, events, and communications, ensuring adherence to branding guidelines and donor stewardship best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Approximately 3-5 years of fundraising, donor relations, sales, relationship management, or comparable experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple donor relationships and priorities.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of individual donors and prospects, using personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans to increase engagement and annual, major, and special-purpose gifts.
• Research prospective donors' interests, connections, and giving potential; identify and engage new prospective major donors.
• Build year-round relationships through meetings, calls, agency visits, events, and outreach; connect donors with JFS leadership, staff, programs, volunteers, and clients when appropriate.
• Prepare personalized proposals, acknowledgments, impact updates, and stewardship materials that demonstrate the value of donors' support.
• Collaborate with Development colleagues, agency leadership, Board members, and volunteers to meet fundraising goals and support campaigns, events, and special initiatives.
