Ayvens is seeking a Delivery Manager to ensure timely delivery of projects and manage capacity and performance within the Digital Backbone team. The role includes driving the AWS exit program, migrating applications to Azure or another target platform, and overseeing decommissioning on AWS.

You will oversee shared IT components, security framework, and cloud/on-premises connectivity, coordinating across geographies and teams.

  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain project docs and status updates.

What are you going to do? As our new Delivery Manager, you will ensure the timely delivery of projects and be responsible for overseeing the capacity and performance of teams involved in the Transversal Services domain, particularly within the Digital Backbone team. You will drive projects executions, optimize resource allocation, and maintain high standards of quality and performance. You will also ensure that regular reports on these activities are created and communicated. In addition, you will manage cross-domain dependencies as well as dependencies within the domain, ensuring that stakeholders are continuously and clearly informed. You take ownership of your work and are driven to succeed. One of your first missions will be to drive the AWS exit program, which includes migrating applications to Azure or another target platform, and overseeing their decommissioning on AWS. Other deliverables of the Digital Backbone team include the implementation and management of shared IT components, such as the public security framework and cloud/on-premises connectivity.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Digital Backbone project items, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Lead governance meetings such as Steering Committees (SteerCo) to provide updates and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Governance: Ensure appropriate project governance is in place with the right stakeholders and clearly define roles and responsibilities.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to project delivery and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate project processes and methodologies to identify areas for improvement, driving efficiency and effectiveness in collaboration with our service partners.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular status updates.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all projects and implementations comply with group and security guidelines.

Ideal candidate
  • The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across teams and geographies.
  • A seasoned Delivery Manager in IT and/or cloud environments, they bring a proven track record leading Agile projects, including cloud migrations, infrastructure, or DevOps delivery.
  • He has experience in working with outsourced teams and navigating regulated environments, and thrives in international, multicultural contexts, ensuring effective collaboration and successful delivery.
  • You will have relevant experience in a similar role, preferably holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Fluent in English is required.
