Alta Ares in France is seeking a Logistics Manager to own the full logistics function from internal stock management to field deployments of defense systems across Europe. You will ensure equipment is in the right place, in perfect condition, and fully compliant with export controls for dual-use and military hardware.

This hands-on role covers inventory, shipping, customs, supplier management, and on-site support during demonstrations.

Qualifications

Hands-on and field-oriented approach to deployments and logistics.
Calm under pressure to resolve issues during field campaigns.
Proactive planning to identify risks weeks in advance.
Strong negotiation to obtain best rates and fast clearance.
French fluency mandatory for coordination with military and suppliers.
Professional-level English for international shipments and documentation.
Discretion and adherence to security culture for defense equipment.

Responsabilités

Own end-to-end logistics for field deployments and demonstrations across Europe.
Plan and execute packing, transport, site access, and on-site setup.
Coordinate with DGA range officers, base logistics teams and event organizers.
Manage customs clearance, export licenses, and end-user documentation.
Maintain audit-ready records of shipments, licenses, and equipment lifecycle.
