Job summary

SMBC Group in Paris is hiring a 6-month intern for its Debt Capital Markets team, starting January 2027. You will support deal coverage, prepare client materials and market updates, and assist in pricing across currencies.

Responsibilities

• Support the DCM team in deal coverage, origination and execution.
• Prepare pitch books and client presentations; manage deal records.
• Prepare weekly market updates on bond market conditions and trends.
• Assist in pricing and valuation of bonds across products and currencies.
• Research macro and credit market ideas for client materials.
• Coordinate with syndicate, structuring, legal and compliance teams.
