Job description

Looking to make an impact in a fast-growing company that’s redefining the industry? Want to drive IT and telecom convergence? Join us at NetSF!

ABOUT US

Network Solutions Factory is the first international center for mobile & fixed networks management and operations located in France.

Initially created to internalize the engineering and operation activities of Salt mobile and fixed network in Switzerland, Network Solutions Factory opened in Lyon in July 2015. Since then, we have expanded our operations worldwide with Eir in Ireland, Epic Cyprus, Epic Malta, Monaco Telecom and recently Tigo in several Latin American countries.

Network Solutions Factory is a multicultural rapidly growing company. Today, we employ around one hundred and fifty employees with a unique combination of telecom, networking and IT skills.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Our Datalake platform provides data ingestion, storage, processing and analytics capabilities, supporting network performance monitoring, reporting and operational use cases across multiple telecom operators.

As Datalake Deployment & Operations Lead (H/F), you will ensure our Datalake platforms are successfully deployed across our telecom operators and operate reliably once in production.

Working closely with the Automation team, developers, platform engineers and operators, you will coordinate rollouts, establish a structured RUN model and ensure incidents, changes and operational issues are properly managed.

With several new deployments planned for 2027, this is also a role to build. You will help turn our current deployment and operational practices into standardized, repeatable processes that can scale across operators.

Reporting directly to the Automation Manager, you will work transversally with Development, Architecture, Data Engineering and infrastructure partners, without direct hierarchical responsibility over the technical teams.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, service management or technical deployment coordination, ideally in telecom, OSS or data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with incident, problem and change management processes (ITIL or equivalent).
  • Solid project management skills for technical rollouts: planning, dependency and risk tracking, managing several projects in parallel and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to coordinate internal teams, vendors and operators, and move topics forward without direct authority.
  • Good technical understanding of IT infrastructure and production environments, with the ability to interact effectively with engineers.
  • Fluent English (mandatory) and professional French.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (Europe and Latin America).
APPRECIATED SKILLS
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, SigNoz or equivalent) and ticketing tools (Jira Service Management or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with data platforms and technologies (Trino, Airflow, Superset, S3 object storage, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of data availability, completeness and freshness monitoring.
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash) to automate operational checks or reporting.
  • Spanish is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Datalake Rollout
  • Coordinate Datalake rollouts across telecom operators, ensuring all prerequisites are followed up (connectivity, access, data flows, source data, application deployment and user acceptance).
  • Lead regular follow-up meetings with operators and internal teams, track dependencies and risks, and elevate blockers when required.
  • Define and maintain deployment checklists and go-live readiness criteria in coordination with technical owners.
  • Ensure a structured handover from project delivery to production operations.
RUN & Service Operations
  • Build and maintain the RUN model for each production service: ownership, support coverage, incident priorities, escalation paths and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure monitoring is implemented across the different layers (infrastructure, platform, applications, data availability, freshness and completeness).
  • Ensure every critical alert has a clear owner and an associated handling procedure.
  • Coordinate incidents end to end: qualification, prioritization, assignment to the appropriate technical team, follow-up, communication and closure.
  • Organize post-incident reviews for major incidents and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Coordinate change management across source systems, ETL, platforms and applications, ensuring changes are communicated, validated and verified after implementation.
  • Build standardized rollout and RUN playbooks that can be reused across operators.
  • Identify recurring operational issues and drive improvement actions with the relevant technical teams.
  • Track and report key operational indicators (service availability, incident trends, monitoring coverage and deployment readiness).
  • Help establish a scalable operating model as the number of deployed Datalakes grows.
  • Work closely with the Delivery Manager to ensure a smooth transition between BUILD, deployment and RUN.
