Job summary

Resilience Care, a leading medical remote monitoring and clinical research partner, seeks a Data Reliability Engineer to build, operate, and secure the data platform. You will ensure timely, complete, and secure data exports for internal users, clinical studies, and external partners.

You’ll own pipelines from ingestion to export, with IaC, CI/CD, and robust monitoring. Collaboration with SRE and product squads on data emission and API interfaces is essential.

Qualifications

• Ship production-grade Python (tests, typing, code quality, reviews, CI).
• Build and operate data pipelines and orchestration (Prefect, Airflow, Dagster or equivalent).
• Write and optimize advanced SQL on PostgreSQL (indexing, query plans).
• Push dbt beyond basics: macros, Jinja, multi-target projects, tests, CI integration.
• Deploy and operate what you build (Terraform, Helm/Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD).
• Read and contribute to TypeScript codebases with backend API knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate data pipelines: ingestion, transformation, export.
• Develop tooling for pipelines with SRE collaboration: IaC, deployment, secrets, incident response.
• Monitor data quality and pipeline health with dashboards and alerts.
• Define and enforce data contracts, schemas, and quality tests.
• Deliver secure data exports to external partners and institutions.
• Maintain PostgreSQL Research Spaces with access control and study scope.
• Scale dbt projects for multiple targets and model reuse.
• Collaborate with product teams to align data with app side requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering standards improvements.
