Magellan is seeking an experienced Data Architect / Pre‑Sales professional in Paris to blend business development with technical offering design and project leadership. The role focuses on Fabric, Azure, Databricks and Synapse, helping shape offerings, deliver POCs, and support complex enterprise deployments.

You will engage with partners and sales teams to scope engagements, draft proposals, and guide delivery across strategic projects leveraging the Azure data platform and related tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with data platform design and pre‑sales support is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of modern data stack components.
• Ability to scope and design data solutions for enterprise projects.

Responsabilités

• Business development : Support the sales team throughout the pre‑sales process: engagement scoping, estimation, proposal drafting, pitch delivery, Microsoft funding
• Offering development : Conduct technology watch, propose within the group strategy framework, create and develop offerings
• Master and deliver POCs via Microsoft fees
• Delivery : Scope projects and strategic initiatives, Lead and facilitate delivery teams, Monitor sensitive projects
• Partner relations : Maintain privileged relationships with strategic partners, Target, identify and prospect potential partners
• Sales and pre‑sales : Analyse tenders, Contribute to commercial proposals, Support the sales team in prospecting

The Data Architect / Pre-Sales role within our Enterprise Solution Center combines business development, offering design, large project management and partner relations. This role is aimed at an experienced Data Architect / Pre-Sales professional with expertise in Fabric, Azure, Databricks and Synapse.

Stack: Fabric, Azure Data Platform, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Terraform, Azure DevOps, SQL, SQL Server, Oracle.
