Qualifications

• Certifications in Snowflake, Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau are preferred.
• 5+ years experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools, including Fivetran and Alteryx.
• Experience designing data lake architectures and supporting batch and real-time pipelines.

Job Description

This is a remote position. We are seeking a Data Engineering Consultant with 9+ years of experience in designing and delivering modern data platforms for global clients. The role requires strong hands‑on expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, and ETL/ELT tools such as Fivetran and Alteryx, along with experience on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Engineering Consultant to lead and deliver modern data platforms and analytics initiatives for global clients. This role blends hands‑on data engineering, solution architecture, and client advisory responsibilities, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and high‑performance data solutions.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics consulting roles; 5+ years of hands‑on experience implementing Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, or Azure Synapse Analytics.

Certifications

Certifications in Snowflake, Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau – Preferred.

SnowPro Advanced Certification – Highly Preferred.

Cloud Platforms

5+ years of experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

ETL/ELT Tools

Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools, including Fivetran and Alteryx.

Architectural Experience

Experience designing data lake / lakehouse architectures and supporting batch and real‑time pipelines.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in SQL and strong working knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, matplotlib).

Governance Knowledge

Good understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

Team Leadership

Experience leading teams or workstreams in client‑facing consulting or global delivery environments.

Communication

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage business and executive stakeholders.

Education

MBA or Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics.
