Publicis Sapient is seeking a data engineering leader to design and scale data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and storage solutions. You will guide a high-performance team across big data technologies, cloud platforms, and modern data tools to deliver reliable data for analytics and decision making.

The role requires hands-on technical delivery, strong collaboration with data scientists and solution architects, and a focus on data quality, governance, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ETL/ELT design and implementation.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka or Flink.
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data engineering tools.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Strong SQL skills with relational and non-relational databases.
• Data modeling, schema design, and partitioning.
• Airflow or Data Factory familiarity.
• Exposure to AI and managed cloud AI services is a plus.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and IaC/containers is a plus.
• Git and CI/CD experience.
• Agile development and test management basics.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and test data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data storage solutions
• Build scalable, reliable, high-performance pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Work with big data technologies and distributed systems to process large datasets
• Collaborate with data modelers, data scientists, and solution architects for efficient data flows
• Partner with data scientists and analysts to deliver clean, structured data
• Coordinate with data source owners for smooth ingestion from multiple systems
• Automate provisioning, deployments, and environment management for data platforms
• Create and support APIs and data services for internal and external consumers
• Ensure scalability, performance, data quality, and governance
