Publicis Sapient is seeking a data engineering leader to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and storage architectures. You will lead high-performance teams, drive data quality, and collaborate with data scientists and solution architects.

The role requires deep technology expertise across Spark, cloud platforms, and modern data tools, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale data solutions. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT design and implementation.
• Familiarity with big data ecosystems (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Flink).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data engineering tools (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with data modeling, schema design, and data partitioning strategies.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Data Factory).
• Some exposure to AI and cloud provider managed AI services is a plus.
• Some exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure (IaC, containers) is a plus.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and test management basics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong teamwork, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
