Publicis Sapient is seeking a senior data engineering leader to design and deliver data pipelines and platforms. You will guide high-performance teams across Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and cloud data services, enabling scalable, high-quality data for analytics and product teams.

You will collaborate with data scientists, modelers, and architects to ensure robust data flows, governance, and enabling APIs for internal and external use. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT design and implementation.
• Familiarity with big data ecosystems (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Flink).
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data engineering tools (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse).
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Strong SQL knowledge with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with data modeling, schema design, and data partitioning.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Data Factory) is a plus.
• Exposure to AI services and cloud managed AI offerings is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps practices and IaC, containers, cloud infra is a plus.
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test management basics.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field; 7+ years of experience.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and test data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data storage solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable, reliable, high-performance pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Work with big data technologies and distributed systems to process large datasets.
• Collaborate with data modelers, data scientists, and architects for efficient data flows.
• Partner with data scientists to deliver clean, well-structured data.
• Coordinate with integration teams for smooth ingestion from multiple systems.
• Automate provisioning, deployments, and environment management for data platforms.
• Create and support APIs and data services for internal and external consumption.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, data quality, and governance.
