ManoMano is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering Team in Paris. You will design and own scalable data pipelines across our Data Platform, ensuring reliability and observability while handling data from warehouses, APIs, and event streams.

You will work with Snowflake, Airflow, Python, S3, and Kafka, collaborating with stakeholders to anticipate data needs and improve data quality. 2–4 years of production experience and strong SQL/Python are required; prior exposure to AI-assisted

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Data Engineering in production-grade environments.
• Strong command of SQL and Python.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and pipeline architecture.
• Experience with performance optimization.
• Good communication and proactive problem-solving.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the design of scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines across our Data Platform and its ecosystem (data warehouses, APIs, event buses, visualization platforms)
• Take ownership of critical data domains, ensuring end-to-end reliability, observability, and performance
• Apply and improve data quality frameworks and best practices to ensure all metrics and datasets provided across the company are trustworthy and actionable
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to anticipate data needs, identify bottlenecks, and proactively propose solutions
• Contribute to the evolution of our Data Platform strategy, including tooling choices, architecture patterns, and documentation
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis on data-related issues, ensuring fast recovery and long-term resilience
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members, contributing to collective growth and helping raise engineering standards across the team

What We’re Looking For

• Have 2 to 4 years of experience in Data Engineering, with a strong command of SQL and Python in production-grade, orchestrated environments
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of data modeling, data pipeline architecture, and performance optimization
• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a risk-taking, problem-solving, and continuously learning work environment
• Be comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools (code generation, documentation, debugging) as a natural part of their daily workflow, with the critical thinking to use them effectively
