Manitou Group is seeking a Data eXperience Director to set the data strategy, govern data assets, and lead a global team across IT&D and business units. The role anchors data-driven transformation with a strong emphasis on governance, security, and value delivery.
You will lead about 25 people across six locations, manage budgets, and foster a culture of change and data excellence within the organization. Hybrid work is possible after onboarding.

MISSIONS
You are the custodian of the strategy, governance, platform architecture, and company-wide data culture adoption. Your leadership and end-to-end technical expertise are crucial to defining and driving the Data vision and Roadmap, while instilling a true culture of Change Management. As Data eXperience Director, you are entrusted with: guaranteeing all Data service offerings (The entire Portfolio: delivery of models, dashboards, analytical infrastructures, sandbox…) in compliance with SLA and quality criteria. Delivering and updating the vision for the evolution of Data for the next 5 years. Guaranteeing the alignment of team skills with the Group’s ambitions.

PROFILE
Holding a higher education degree equivalent to a Master’s degree at minimum (Computer Science, Data, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, or equivalent), you have at least 10 years of experience in Data leadership roles (Chief Data Officer, Data Director, Head of Data…), ideally within large international industrial groups. You have demonstrated your ability to build and drive a Data vision on an organizational scale, manage multidisciplinary teams, and support the transformation of complex environments toward a Data-Driven culture. Fluent English imperative.
Technical Skills
Excellent understanding of industrial business challenges and the contribution of data to corporate performance.
Mastery of data governance principles, Data Quality, Data Ownership, and master data repositories.
Recognized expertise in modern Data architectures and ecosystems: Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Hub, Master Data Management (MDM), data integration tools, and analytical platforms.
Solid mastery of Business Intelligence and Data Visualization solutions
Good knowledge of Cloud Data environments and data platform industrialization issues.
Strong understanding of AI technologies, Machine Learning, MLOps, and the operational deployment of AI models for business functions.
Mastery of cybersecurity principles applied to data
Behavioral Skills
Strong leadership, capable of rallying an international organization around an ambitious Data vision and defending strategic directions before an Executive Committee and business unit management. Ability to structure, develop, and evolve an international Data organization composed of experts and managers.
Strong culture of Change Management
Genuine posture as a Data evangelist, capable of inspiring, influencing, and developing the Data culture within the Group. Ability to take a step back while maintaining a strong operational focus.
Team player, sense of collaboration, and ability to build communities of expertise.
