Manitou Group recherche un Directeur Data pour piloter la stratégie data, la gouvernance et l’architecture, en gérant une équipe internationale et en assurant une culture data-driven au sein du groupe.

Vous superviserez le portefeuille Data, travaillerez avec les directions IT&D et métiers, et garantirez des niveaux de service et de sécurité conformes.

Qualifications

• Diplôme de Master ou équivalent en informatique, data, IA ou systèmes d’information.
• Au moins 10 années d’expérience dans des postes de leadership data au sein de groupes internationaux.
• Maîtrise des concepts de gouvernance data, qualité des données et maîtrise des données maîtresses (MDM).
• Anglais courant indispensable.

Responsabilités

• Diriger et coordonner 3 équipes internationales totalisant environ 25 personnes et prestataires externes.
• Définir la vision data et la roadmap du groupe Manitou en collaboration avec IT&D et les directions métier.
• Assurer la conformité SLA et la sécurité des données en collaboration avec le CISO.
• Promouvoir une culture data-driven et l’adoption de meilleures pratiques de gouvernance et conduite du changement.

Missions

You are the custodian of the strategy, governance, platform architecture, and company-wide data culture adoption. Your leadership and end-to-end technical expertise are crucial to defining and driving the Data vision and Roadmap, while instilling a true culture of Change Management. As Data eXperience Director, you are entrusted with: guaranteeing all Data service offerings (The entire Portfolio: delivery of models, dashboards, analytical infrastructures, sandbox…) in compliance with SLA and quality criteria. Delivering and updating the vision for the evolution of Data for the next 5 years. Guaranteeing the alignment of team skills with the Group’s ambitions.

I. Team Management and Leadership Coordinate

• manage, supervise, lead, and develop 3 international teams totaling approximately 25 employees plus external service providers (Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, Data Architects, Data Managers).
• Define individual and collective objectives, monitor performance, conduct appraisal interviews, and identify development needs.
• Be a true leader capable of uniting teams around a user- and quality-oriented service culture. Work in a non-siloed manner (“non-siloed guy”) and ensure a direct and ongoing relationship with other IT&D departments.
• Build, deliver, and drive the vision and the Data Roadmap for the entire Manitou group alongside other IT&D directors and business divisions.
• Drive data culture adoption within IT&D to make Business Analysts (BAs) more sensitive and receptive to data-related challenges.
• Define and standardize collaboration processes (Delivery and Run) between DX team Data Analysts and Business Analysts across the various business domains.

II. Planning, Organization, and Management

• Oversee and manage the rollout of the DX service portfolio across its 6 levels (Consume, Explore, Build, Play, Govern, Learn).
• Work in close collaboration with operational divisions and co-lead the network of data owners and stewards, while ensuring that data ownership, business definition rules, and responsibility for data quality remain fully under the charge of Business Process Owners.
• Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), with a strong focus on deliverable quality.
• Work in close collaboration with the CISO (Cyber & Security) to ensure optimal data security.
• Negotiate objectives, build, defend, and monitor the Data department budget, including the management of a FinOps approach to control and optimize Cloud/Data platform costs.
• Persuade and mobilize Business Units around the Data roadmap, relying notably on convincing feedback and post-implementation reviews (RETEX).

III. Communication

• Communicate in a transparent and inspiring manner with business executive teams regarding the added value of Data for the business.
• Communicate within your entity on the technological evolution of Data platforms.
• Play a major role in driving IT&D attractiveness for highly scarce Data talent profiles.

Profile

Holding a higher education degree equivalent to a Master’s degree at minimum (Computer Science, Data, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, or equivalent), you have at least 10 years of experience in Data leadership roles (Chief Data Officer, Data Director, Head of Data…), ideally within large international industrial groups. You have demonstrated your ability to build and drive a Data vision on an organizational scale, manage multidisciplinary teams, and support the transformation of complex environments toward a Data-Driven culture. Fluent English imperative.

Technical Skills

• Excellent understanding of industrial business challenges and the contribution of data to corporate performance.
• Mastery of data governance principles, Data Quality, Data Ownership, and master data repositories.
• Recognized expertise in modern Data architectures and ecosystems: Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Hub, Master Data Management (MDM), data integration tools, and analytical platforms.
• Solid mastery of Business Intelligence and Data Visualization solutions
• Good knowledge of Cloud Data environments and data platform industrialization issues.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, Machine Learning, MLOps, and the operational deployment of AI models for business functions.
• Mastery of cybersecurity principles applied to data

Behavioral Skills

• Strong leadership, capable of rallying an international organization around an ambitious Data vision and defending strategic directions before an Executive Committee and business unit management. Ability to structure, develop, and evolve an international Data organization composed of experts and managers.
