AWS is seeking a Data Center Operations Manager to lead our compute and facilities teams in Paris. You will own safety, availability and performance of regional data center operations, and drive cost efficiency and capacity planning.

You will mentor leaders, manage budgets, sponsor large projects, and collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to implement best practices that scale with AWS growth. Candidates should demonstrate strong IT ops background and proven people leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in IT operations or similar roles.
• Experience leading teams and managing performance.
• Strong planning, organizational and budgeting skills.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise a team of Data Center Technicians installing, maintaining and decommissioning hardware
• Oversee safety, security, availability, quality, and performance
• Strategic planning, forecasting, and performance reviews
• Supervisory responsibilities per policies and procedures
• Mentor and develop career progression for direct reports
• Drive team learning including soft skills development
• Coordinate change management with electrical and mechanical teams
• Develop and share best practices across the region and globally
