Job summary

Amazon Data Services France SAS in Lille is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead DC infrastructure engineering for high-availability data centers. You will shape power distribution, backup systems, and large-scale infrastructure solutions with cross-functional teams across AWS.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 5+ years in data centers, and mastery of electrical design standards and tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, commerce, business administration or equivalent.
Extensive years of experience with MV and LV power systems and electrical design with at least 5 years in data centers or high availability applications.
Extensive Experience designing electrical systems for data centers or similar large-scale infrastructure environments.
Demonstrated expertise in electrical power distribution, backup power systems, and facility infrastructure design.
Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines.
Proficiency with electrical design tools and analysis software.

Responsibilities

Leading DC Infrastructure Engineering in AMER. Develop strategic solutions which meet or exceed our quality requirements and fall within our budgetary and redundancy requirements.
Conceives, initiates, and leads projects with widespread impact on infrastructure engineering, innovation, and implementation.
Sets the standard for engineering, test, and best practices.
Drives process improvements across the organization.
Decompose complex problems into straightforward and actionable solutions.
Be a leader within the group as well as within internal and external teams that support our data centers.
Work with internal teams to understand user requirements.
Work with local agencies having jurisdiction and certification agencies to ensure compliance with federal, state and municipal requirements and building codes.
