Amazon Data Services France SAS seeks a Data Center Chief Engineer to oversee electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems in AWS data centers, ensuring uptime, safety, and efficient operations.

You will lead small-to-medium projects, train EOTs, coordinate with vendors, and drive continuous improvement while reducing costs across regional facilities. This role requires on-site presence at Paris facilities and deep technical leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in a high‑volume mission‑critical operational environment (data center, healthcare, etc.).
• 10+ years leadership in engineering/technical ops for medium to large scale facilities.
• Ability to lead tactical response teams and deliver root‑cause remediation.

Responsabilités

• Setting and maintaining high safety standards and promoting a world‑class safety culture.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardisation of procedures and policies.
• Coordinate with site engineers, operations teams, and vendors to ensure 100% uptime.
