Talantir in Bourg-en-Bresse is seeking an IT/Data Center Support Specialist to provide L2 support for data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking. The role involves rack and stack, vendor coordination, OS troubleshooting, firmware updates, and adherence to ITIL processes.

The position requires strong hardware and networking knowledge, experience with Windows/Linux, and the ability to manage assets, inventory, and incident response within SLA.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L2 support for Data Center infrastructure and operations.
• Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of servers, storage, and network devices.
• Handle rack and stack activities, including structured cabling and labeling.
• Work closely with OEM vendors for hardware support and issue resolution.
• Manage RMA processes (parts replacement, warranty support, vendor coordination).
• Monitor systems and respond to alerts/incidents within SLA.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues (servers, switches, routers, firewalls).
• Coordinate with L3 teams and OEM support teams for critical issues.
• Perform OS-level troubleshooting (Windows/Linux).
• Execute firmware upgrades, patching, and hardware diagnostics.
• Maintain proper cable management, rack hygiene, and documentation.
• Support backup and recovery operations.
• Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle management.
• Follow ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• Ensure adherence to data center security and compliance standards.
