Job summary

Fortinet, a cybersecurity pioneer, seeks a Systems Engineer in Paris to support the sales organization on technical matters, pre-sales, and post-sales training. You will act as the main technical resource on sales calls, addressing features, specifications, and integration while working closely with customers and partners.

The role requires 5–8 years in technical/pre-sales roles, strong networking knowledge, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

5–8 years in technical/pre-sales support as sales or systems engineer.
5–8 years in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN/WAN, network security, IDS, antivirus.
Understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.
Strong presentation skills.
Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineer you will assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint (Pre-sales).
Be the main technical resource on sales calls and educate the customer on features, specifications and functionality to aid integration.
Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.
