Job summary

Fortinet in Paris, France is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the sales team with technical pre-sales, product features, and integration inquiries across LAN/WAN, DNS, and security solutions.

You will be the primary technical resource on customer calls, qualify leads, deliver post-sale training, and help demonstrate routing, VPN, and firewall capabilities in English. The role requires 5–8 years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; graduate degree preferred.
• 5–8 years experience in technical/pre-sales support and LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
• Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP and security technologies.
• Fluent English communication and strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint (Pre-sales).
• Be the main technical resource on sales calls and educate customers on features and integration.
• Contribute knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, and network security during discussions.
• Provide post-sales training and support to identified customers.
