Job summary

Rayner Surgical Group in Gennevilliers, Île-de-France, is seeking a Customer Service Advisor & Stock Administrator to deliver efficient, accurate service while managing orders and stock.

You will coordinate with logistics, document processes, and support the team to maintain compliance and drive improvements across warehouse and customer service operations, enabling smooth day-to-day activity.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in logistics or stock administration.
  • Strong accuracy under deadlines and detail-oriented work.
  • Fluent written and spoken French and English.
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage stock replenishment and maintain safety stock levels.
  • Process local and international orders, returns, credits and invoicing.
  • Pick, pack and dispatch orders within agreed timescales.
  • Coordinate imports, customs, couriers and delivery services.
  • Maintain stock documentation, inventory checks and PO records.
  • Provide management information and report on customer feedback.
  • Ensure health, safety, quality and waste-management procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in warehouse and customer service processes.
  • Support the CS team with cross-training and product knowledge.

Job description

The Customer Service Advisor & Stock Administrator is responsible for delivering efficient, accurate customer service while ensuring orders, stock, returns and related administration are managed effectively and within agreed timescales.

The role supports smooth day-to-day operations by maintaining stock availability, coordinating logistics and documentation, and working collaboratively with the wider team to maintain high standards of service, quality and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage stock replenishment and maintain required safety stock levels.
  • Process local and international orders, returns, credits, invoicing and credit notes accurately and on time.
  • Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain safe, secure, clean and organised warehouse and storage areas.
  • Coordinate imports, customs/import agencies, couriers and delivery services.
  • Manage stock documentation, inventory checks, purchase orders and related records.
  • Provide management information, analyse customer feedback/complaints and support reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, vigilance and waste-management procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement across warehouse, customer service processes and systems.
  • Support the Customer Service team through collaboration, cross-training, product knowledge development and team cover.

What Experience & Skills You Will Need:

Essential

  • Strong logistic knowledge (senior profile) experience required (3 years minimum)
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with accuracy and detail.
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing in French and English
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and confident use of MS Office

Desirable

  • Experience dealing with imported goods
  • Proven track record in a customer service role in medical devices
  • Knowledge of ERP system
  • Knowledge of Data protection, Cyber security, and anti-money laundering policies
  • Experience in warehouse handling / goods packaging
