Jobtailor seeks a senior maintenance leader to manage corrective maintenance for critical energy facilities in France. You will define the maintenance organization, lead field teams, coordinate subs, and drive incident resolution and RCA.

You will implement predictive maintenance, monitor KPIs, manage contractor performance, and report operational status to the operator and manufacturer. International travel is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in maintenance and operation of critical energy facilities.
• Expertise in corrective maintenance, failure analysis, and the structuring of maintenance organizations.
• Experience managing subcontractors and maintenance contracts.
• Proficiency with a CMMS.
• Hydrogen, PEM fuel cells, ATEX, or commissioning experience is advantageous.
• Strong field leadership, autonomy, rigor, and remote environment management.
• Fluency in French and professional English; international travel required.

Description du poste

• Build the corrective maintenance organization
• Define roles, responsibilities, intervention procedures, and escalation processes
• Define local resource requirements and contribute to the development of field teams’ capabilities
• Act as the primary point of contact during technical incidents
• Diagnose failures and coordinate corrective actions
• Mobilize the resources required to restore operations
• Lead incident resolution through to closure
• Conduct root cause analyses and capture lessons learned
• Implement a predictive maintenance program, monitor KPIs, and analyze trends
• Identify failure risks and develop corresponding action plans
• Identify, qualify, and train local subcontractors
• Establish intervention procedures and monitor contractor performance
• Coordinate interventions with operations teams and monitor preventive maintenance
• Participate in project technical meetings
• Manage technical support requests with the fuel cell manufacturer
• Monitor manufacturer warranties and provide reporting
• Implement tracking tools, develop performance indicators, and produce daily and weekly reports
• Report to the company, the operator, and the manufacturer
• Monitor equipment availability to ensure 97% availability over 10 years

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in the maintenance and operation of critical energy facilities
• Expertise in corrective maintenance, failure analysis, and the structuring of maintenance organizations
• Experience managing subcontractors and maintenance contracts
• Proficiency with a CMMS
• Experience in hydrogen, PEM fuel cells, ATEX, or commissioning would be an advantage
• Strong field leadership, autonomy, rigor, and the ability to manage complex situations in a remote environment
• Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English are essential
• International travel will be required
