Job summary

Lemrock is seeking a freelance Analytics Engineer to join full-time for a starting window of 2–3 weeks with potential renewal and a path to permanent work. You will dive into our data to understand drivers of performance, build a semantic layer in BigQuery, and implement models powering product decisions using Claude Code.

Qualifications

• Must-have: 3+ years in analytics/engineering with real analysis work.
• Advanced SQL and Python for analysis.
• Dimensional modelling on BigQuery with Git and code review.
• Built semantic layer and BI on top of it (Lightdash/Looker).
• Strong stats: A/B tests and causal inference; translate analysis to product changes.
• Autonomous: ask the right questions, deliver clear recommendations.
• Experience with Claude Code or similar tools and reusable workflows.

Responsibilities

• Explore data sources to identify drivers of performance.
• Size impact of different levers and measure changes with A/B tests.
• Apply findings to the product using Claude Code, prioritising updates.
• Write and maintain Claude Code skills with engineering review.
• Model data in BigQuery and build a reusable semantic layer.
• Document models and specify missing events for engineering.
