Job summary

Lemrock is seeking a freelance Analytics Engineer to dive into data and drive product improvements from insights. You will work directly with the founders and product/engineering teams to understand drivers of performance and implement changes.

We expect 3+ years in analytics, strong SQL and Python, and a track record building scalable data models and semantic layers. Daily rate is discussed during the process; starting within 2–3 weeks is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst or Data Engineer, with real analysis work.
• Advanced SQL and Python for analysis.
• Dimensional modelling on BigQuery with Git and code review.
• Built semantic layer and BI on top of it (Lightdash, Looker or similar).
• Strong statistics: AB tests and causal inference; turned analysis into product changes.
• Autonomous: asks the right questions and delivers clear recommendations.
• Daily use of Claude Code or similar tools; creates repeatable workflows.

Responsibilities

• Explore every data source: conversations, web and behavioural events, campaign performance and metadata.
• Find what drives performance and size the impact of each lever.
• Measure changes with AB tests and feed results back into the next analysis.
• Apply findings to the product yourself, using Claude Code to prioritise and present changes.
• Write and maintain Claude Code skills so updates are repeatable by the team.
