C12 Quantum Electronics in Paris is seeking a Cleanroom Engineer to oversee and improve cleanroom equipment and processes for wafer fabrication in R&D and early production stages.

You will collaborate with researchers, facilities, and external vendors while upholding top safety and quality standards in a startup environment. English proficiency is required, and the team emphasizes hands-on problem-solving and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on cleanroom experience (academic or industrial).
• Experience with lithography, deposition, etching, and tool maintenance.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work autonomously in a startup.
• Fluency in English (working proficiency).

Responsabilités

• Take technical ownership of several cleanroom tools and perform maintenance.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Operate process tools to support wafer fabrication for R&D and early production.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers, service engineers, and vendors for installations and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain safety standards, SOPs, and documentation.
