Job summary

Insurcomm Restoration, part of Fortify Companies, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead restoration rebuilds from inspection to completion. You will prepare scopes in Xactimate, document with Docusketch, and negotiate with insurers to secure favorable outcomes.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, and a reliable subcontractor network while ensuring code compliance and timely project close-outs. This is an office-based role with travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as a Construction Project Manager in restoration or similar field.
• Proficiency in Xactimate; working knowledge of Symbility.
• Experience with Docusketch documentation.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules for construction.
• 1–3 years managing TPA/program rebuild jobs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect losses and create accurate scopes in Xactimate.
• Document projects using Docusketch for insurance records.
• Negotiate with insurance companies and close sales.
• Manage projects from contract through completion with clear scope and timelines.
• Develop detailed schedules and coordinate production teams.
• Recruit, retain, and manage a reliable subcontractor network.
• Oversee material selections, permitting, and code compliance.
• Manage budgets to ensure project profitability.
• Complete change orders, supplementals, and project close-outs.
• Navigate TPA and program requirements.
• Mentor and develop production staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead restoration rebuild projects from inspection through completion. You will inspect losses, write estimates, negotiate with adjusters, and deliver high-quality reconstruction.

This is a revenue-generating leadership role managing $1.5–$2 million in annual project volume while building strong relationships with clients and insurance partners.

What You’ll Bring

Required

• 3–5 years as a Construction Project Manager in restoration

• Strong subcontractor recruitment and management experience

• Required state/local licenses to manage rebuild projects
• Experience with PSA or similar job management platforms

Preferred

• IICRC certifications
• Established subcontractor network
• Large loss or CAT project experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
