The City of Natchez is seeking a Custodial / Grounds Maintenance Worker to perform skilled and manual tasks across parks and recreation facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, mopping floors, playground mulch replacement, litter removal, and general groundskeeping.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least one year in custodial or landscaping, and a valid MS/LA driver's license. The role involves year-round outdoor work and occasionally weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of custodial, janitorial, grounds maintenance, or landscaping experience.
• Must have valid driver's license for MS/LA.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work year-round outdoors.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily custodial duties including cleaning bathrooms and floors.
• Inspect play areas, replace mulch and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Picks up litter and debris across park grounds daily.
• Perform groundskeeping tasks: pruning, weeding, mulching and basic landscaping.
• Operate and maintain light equipment like pressure washers, mowers, edgers; perform minor repairs.
