Roly Recruitment seeks a manager-level professional for a fixed income asset manager in Paris to cover regulatory compliance and operational risk. You will regularly interact with AMF and ACPR, draft policy documents, provide regulatory reports, assist with risk assessments and incident reviews, and support management with risk presentation materials.

Required are a Bac+5 in a relevant field and 5+ years in risk/regulatory roles within financial services; fluent French and English preferred,

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Risk Management/Regulatory in financial services.
• Experience in risk management concepts (RCSA, incident management, risk indicators).
• Languages: fluency in French and English is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Draft compliance policy documents for financial markets activity.
• Provide regulatory reports to the AMF and ACPR; may engage with CSSF in Luxembourg for the Luxembourg ManCo subsidiary.
• Assist the European Risk and Compliance Manager by raising awareness, performing controls, and ensuring the risk framework is effective and operational.
• Collect and analyse incidents to ensure lessons are learnt; monitor action plans and escalate as needed.
• Assist with preparation of risk presentations and case studies of incidents.

Our client are an established fixed income asset manager (credit and bond markets) and part of a wider European financial services group.

In response to recent commercial successes they are now looking to hire a manager level professional to cover regulatory compliance and some aspects of operational risk. This role will involve regular interaction with both the AMF and ACPR.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Draft compliance policy documents specific to financial markets activity
• Provide regulatory reports to the AMF and ACPR. On occasions you may have to engage with the CSSF in Luxembourg on behalf of the Luxembourg ManCo subsidiary
• Assist the European Risk and Compliance Manager by raising awareness, performing controls, and ensuring that the risk management framework is effective and operational, which includes the Risk & Control Self-Assessment Framework
• Collect and analyse incidents to ensure that relevant lessons are learnt; agreed action plans monitoring and escalating the issues to the management attention when necessary
• Assist with the preparation of risk presentations and case studies of incidents

Key skills and experience required are:

• Education: Bac+5 in finance, management, law, audit or any other relevant diploma
• 5+ years’ experience in Risk Management/Regulatory in financial services - asset management, investment banking or payment services would be an advantage
• Experience in risk management concepts (RCSA, incident management, risk indicators)
• Languages: fluency in French and English is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
