Merge is seeking a hands-on Compliance Lead to oversee regulatory compliance across EMI and CASP activities. You will design and implement AML/CFT framework, manage STR/SAR reporting, and liaise with regulators, auditors, and banking partners.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of MiCA, EU regulation, and crypto-asset AML risks, with the ability to own the function end-to-end.

Qualificações

• Design, implement, and maintain the firm’s AML/CFT framework, policies, and procedures proportionate to the CASP’s business model and risk profile.
• Manage STR/SAR reporting and regulatory filings with relevant authorities such as TRACFIN.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, banking partners, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee compliance policies, controls, governance, and risk assessments for CASP operations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance with MiCA and AML requirements.
• Support internal teams with compliance guidance, training, and regulatory best practices.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Compliance Lead to support regulatory compliance across Merge’s EMI and CASP activities. The ideal candidate will have experience at a start-up fintech, Electronic Money Institution (EMI), CASP or equivalent and will have passed fit & proper assessment by the ACPR/AMF or equivalent.
