Nikki Beach Hospitality Group in Saint Tropez is seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen brigade. This entry-level role focuses on building your culinary foundation while supporting senior chefs in food preparation, mise en place, and service execution.

You will work under hygiene and quality standards, learn techniques, and grow within a dynamic luxury hospitality group with seasonal/full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a professional kitchen or culinary training welcomed.
• Passion for learning and developing culinary skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily food preparation under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and senior chefs
• Carry out basic cooking tasks such as chopping, peeling, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating standards consistently
• Support mise en place preparation for service and special events
• Store and label ingredients correctly to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any issues immediately
• Participate in kitchen cleaning routines and deep cleaning rotations
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen brigade to ensure seamless service flow

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and senior chefs

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary training (internship/apprenticeship experience welcomed)


• Passion for food, learning, and developing culinary skills


• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods


• Strong organizational and multitasking skills


• Ability to follow instructions and work well under pressure


• Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to support colleagues


• Understanding of hygiene, health, and safety regulations
