The Head of Cloud Architecture will lead cloud-focused modernization initiatives across acquired portfolio companies - owning the end-to-end strategy and execution roadmap to transition legacy platforms into modern, scalable cloud-native infrastructures. This pivotal role involves technical due diligence, full-lifecycle transformation planning, and orchestrating cross-functional execution and change management. We are seeking a hands-on leader with a proven track record of driving successful enterprise transformations—who thrives on leading execution from the front and continues to be energized by rolling up their sleeves to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Due Diligence: Conduct thorough technical assessments of acquisition targets, analyzing legacy infrastructure, technical debt, cloud readiness, and identifying key migration opportunities and risks.
• Transformation Blueprint Development: Design, develop, and drive detailed cloud architecture transformation plans, outlining the roadmap for transitioning from legacy platforms to modern, scalable, secure cloud-native SaaS infrastructures. Establish milestones that can be measured against once the blueprint is rolled out. Leverage AI driven productivity gains.
• Strategic Execution: Drive and manage the execution of cloud modernization strategies, including infrastructure migration, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps integration, and implementation of cloud-native architectures. Coordinate with internal teams, strategic hyperscaler partners (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and specialist cloud consultancies.
• Stakeholder Alignment and Change Management: Lead structured, cross-functional engagement to align technical and business leaders around roadmap execution—translating complex transformation plans into shared operating narratives, driving sustained buy-in, managing change adoption, and anchoring delivery to measurable milestones. Champion organizational and technical change management across people, process, and platform to rally teams and executives around a shared modernization vision.
• Cloud Innovation and Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of cloud technologies, best practices, and industry developments. Continuously evaluate emerging solutions to optimize cost efficiency, scalability, performance, and compliance.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate cloud-specific risks, including security, compliance, data governance, and operational resilience, ensuring robust architectural practices are consistently applied.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing cloud engineering teams responsible for executing complex modernization initiatives, instilling technical rigor, delivery discipline, and a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. Ensure alignment with Kairos Vista’s strategic objectives, while serving as a visible champion of transformation across senior leadership, engineering, and operations. Drive change within the teams to leverage productivity gains by using AI enabled tools.
• Execution Accountability: Operate with clear ownership over transformation delivery, holding both internal teams and external partners accountable to milestones, quality, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in cloud architecture and enterprise SaaS transformations within Financial Services, Payments, Insurance, or regulated, data-intensive sectors.
• Proven ability to design and own cloud transformation roadmaps and drive alignment across executive and technical stakeholders.
• Proven expertise conducting technical due diligence and translating findings into actionable transformation blueprints.
• Deep technical knowledge of cloud-native architectures, infrastructure migration strategies, containerization, Kubernetes, microservices, and DevOps practices.
• Track record of mobilizing cross-functional teams and individuals and managing strategic partnerships to deliver complex transformation programs.
• Excellent strategic, analytical, and communication skills with a proven ability to deliver impactful business outcomes.
• Experience establishing and leading governance forums (e.g., architecture councils, transformation steering committees, Cloud Center of Excellence) to ensure consistent alignment, visibility, and accountability.
• Actively exploring and experimenting with AI-driven technologies, with a demonstrated commitment to adopting leading-edge practices and translating them into real-world execution.
• Exceptional strategic, analytical, and communication skills with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
