Trust In SODA is seeking a senior Cloud Architect in Paris to establish and evolve the production cloud foundations. The role blends architecture ownership with hands-on delivery across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, data protection, CI/CD and platform reliability.

You will define and implement baseline architecture, enable scalable, portable cloud solutions and drive IaC standards, monitoring and incident practices across engineering teams. English proficiency is required.

Cloud Architect | Paris, France | High-Growth Technology

A growing technology company in Paris is looking for a highly experienced Cloud Architect to establish and evolve the architectural foundations of its production cloud environment.

This is a hands-on senior architecture position for someone who has previously designed cloud platforms from an early stage, established infrastructure standards and helped organisations build secure, scalable and resilient production environments.

You will combine strategic architectural ownership with practical involvement across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, data protection, CI/CD and platform reliability.

The Opportunity

You will take significant ownership of the organisation's cloud architecture and help define the technical baseline from which the platform will scale.

The role requires someone who understands not only how to operate cloud infrastructure, but how to make foundational architecture decisions around security, data protection, reliability, portability, deployment and long-term scalability.

Deep expertise in one major cloud provider is sufficient. GCP experience is useful but is not mandatory; strong AWS or Azure architects with transferable architecture knowledge are equally relevant.

You should also be comfortable thinking beyond a single-cloud implementation and designing systems that can operate across different hosting or regulatory environments where required.

This is a hands-on architecture role rather than a purely advisory or governance position.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and evolve the architectural baseline for production cloud infrastructure.

• Establish Infrastructure-as-Code standards and automation.

• Design containerised platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Establish monitoring, observability, alerting and production-reliability practices.
• Define IAM, secrets-management and access-control architecture.
• Develop backup, disaster-recovery and business-continuity approaches.
• Design infrastructure suitable for sensitive and regulated data.
• Improve cloud cost, performance and scalability.
• Work closely with software, data and engineering teams.
• Evaluate architectural trade-offs and prevent infrastructure decisions creating long-term technical constraints.
• Define cloud and DevOps best practices across the engineering organisation.
• Contribute directly to implementation where needed.

What We're Looking For

• Significant professional experience across Cloud Architecture, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure or SRE, typically around 10+ years overall or equivalent depth of experience.
• Strong experience personally designing and establishing production cloud architecture.
• Evidence of having previously created, substantially redesigned or set the baseline for a cloud platform.
• Deep expertise with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles that transfer across providers.
• Experience designing infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security and data protection.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience, ideally Terraform or equivalent.
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• CI/CD and deployment-automation experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, storage, compute and security.
• Production observability and incident-management knowledge.
• Experience with distributed/cloud-native systems.
• Ability to combine architectural decision-making with hands-on implementation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management capability.Professional English.
