Jobgether is seeking a Head of Data Science & Credit Risk in France to lead ML-powered underwriting and risk decisioning across multiple markets. You will own the full lifecycle of risk models, from development to deployment, monitoring, experimentation, and measurable business impact.

This senior leadership role combines technical leadership with credit policy ownership, portfolio performance, and responsible lending practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined experience across data science, machine learning, and consumer credit risk.
• Proven leadership in building and managing credit risk in a fintech context.
• Strong production ML experience in real-time decisioning and monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement of machine learning models for credit decisioning and risk segmentation.
• Develop underwriting algorithms using alternative data sources to expand access to financial services.
• Build and scale real-time scoring models across multiple markets and products.
• Ensure models are interpretable, robust, fair, and monitored for drift and performance.
• Establish strong MLOps practices for deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Develop and manage credit risk frameworks, policies, and customer segmentation aligned to markets.
• Track portfolio health, investigate material changes, and set early-warning indicators.
• Lead experimentation and A/B testing to refine decisioning strategies based on KPIs.
• Collaborate with Finance on provisioning and capital allocation; support stress testing.
