Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Paris, within the Bar team, seeks a Barman/ Chef de rang to join the Camélia restaurant. You will perform all outlet tasks under managers, serving food and beverages on time and crafting an exceptional selection of beverages while delighting every guest.

You should be rigorous, organized, and courteous, with fluent French and English; a third language is a plus. Experience in a similar establishment is preferred, and you will benefit from MO Learning & Development and wellness

About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Bar team, the Barman/Chef de rang performs all the operational tasks and functions required in the outlet under the direction of the respective managers and supervisors, with the overall aim of serving food and beverages on time, preparing an exceptional selection of creative beverages and delighting and satisfying every customer.

As Chef de rang

You will be responsible for the following duties:

• Be responsible for the service provided in our Bar, in collaboration with the Supervisor
• Be familiar with the menu and dishes to be able to answer our customers' questions,
• Know and master all presentation techniques.
• Maintain particularly close contact with our customers.

• Successful experience in a similar establishment
• Initiative and enthusiasm
• Fluency in French and English; a 3rd language would be a plus.
