Job Description

We are seeking a professional and friendly Chef de rang to join our team in Massignac, France. As a Chef de rang, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests by providing attentive and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and beverages
Take accurate food and beverage orders using point-of-sale systems
Communicate orders to kitchen staff clearly and efficiently
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions
Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining and service areas
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service operations
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve service quality

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of one year experience in customer service or hospitality industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Proficiency in French & English
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
