Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking aCardiac Lab Professional for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Atrium Health Cabarrus. The role involves 40-hour weeks with 4 10-hour shifts, scrub, monitoring, and circulating duties under physician direction.

Sign-on bonus eligible based on eligibility. Responsibilities include patient care, medication administration under supervision, documentation, data interpretation, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Cardiovascular/Cardiopulmonary technology program.
• If not licensed, up to 12 months to obtain required licensure or certification (e.g., RCIS or RCES).
• Graduate of relevant Allied Health Technology program or two years' cardiovascular experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates evidence-based practice and provides care for patient wellbeing.
• Performs or assists with treatments and procedures under physician direction.
• Administers medications under physician supervision as appropriate.
• Documents patient data and records in the chart.
• Communicates pertinent information to physicians and teammates.
• Calculates, interprets and analyzes clinical data.
• Contributes to policies and standards of care; supports governance activities.
