Registered Nurse (RN) – Neurosurgery ICU
Where You Will Work: The NSICU provides comprehensive patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. NSICU is a 29-bed unit with all private rooms, three negative pressure rooms and two fully equipped nursing stations with central monitoring available on either side. Common diagnoses for these patients include but are not limited to: subarachnoid hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, epidural hematoma, spinal cord injuries, Code Stroke, head trauma, intracranial hemorrhages, brain tumors, continuous EEG and carotid endarterectomies. The nurses specialize in utilizing the NIHSS, monitoring and manipulating external ventricular devise, subdural drains, and IRRAS. We have a 1:2 ratio and have an AACN Beacon of Excellence Silver Designation.
