Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Marseille is seeking an Operational Controller to support the Car Carrier (RoRo) business. You will act as a bridge between Finance and Operations, monitoring voyage profitability and analyzing costs to ensure reliable data.

In a dynamic, international environment, you will collaborate with Finance, Operations, Product and Procurement to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, while improving tools and processes.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of experience in management control, FP&A, Business Controlling or financial analysis.
• A degree in Finance, Management Control, Corporate Finance, Accounting/Audit or a related field.
• Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, costs and profitability.
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI is a plus.
• Analytical, rigorous, autonomous and adaptable mindset with ability to manage multiple topics in a fast-changing environment.
• Professional proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin), B2-C1 minimum, both written and spoken.
• Fluent English, essential to work in our international environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor voyage profitability and KPI performance.
• Analyze revenue, costs, variances and KPIs, and identify key areas for improvement.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial closing and performance reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of operational data and invoices.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Product and Procurement teams.
• Contribute to improving tools, reporting and management control processes.
