Supermicro is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to grow our market share in Fortune 500 accounts, GenAI CSPs and VARs. You will manage and develop our customer portfolio and thrive in a challenging sales environment, driving strategic growth across global markets.

The role requires deep knowledge of server, storage and management solutions, with C-level engagement and leadership to expand the enterprise IT footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in Business or Management related is a plus.
• Minimum 15 years of sales experience in computer, server, or hardware industry is preferred; software and/or cloud experience is a plus.
• Experience working with C-level executives in large Fortune companies and VAR’s/SI’s.
• Deep knowledge in server, storage and management solutions, knowledge in Cloud data centers and the enterprise IT environment.
• Great leadership and strong ability of working with and managing people from different groups.
• Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines, cultures, and geographies.
• Great analytic skills in market and industry research, constant drive to grow and passion to learn.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement and drive robust & creative growth plans that meet/exceed new business targets and customer retention objectives with the Sales Account teams.
• Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the customer’s base/business.
• Establish monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals with team members.
• Maintain comprehensive and current knowledge of all sales activities, forecast opportunities, and available pipeline.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting for the territory.
• Successfully manage relationships with customers. Visit customers and help them identify opportunities and improve sales and marketing strategies in selling Supermicro products.
• Recruit, onboard and enable a local ecosystem of SI, distributor and VAR partners in the territory.
• Build qualified Enterprise pipeline from scratch in a new market.
