About the role
As a member of the Direct Sales France team, you will work closely with Laurine, our Sales Manager Direct France, to boost our commercial engine. Your goal is to ensure high-quality follow‑up for a rapidly expanding account portfolio while actively hunting for new partner accounts to drive our business growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage your own pipeline: generate new business opportunities (outbound) and gradually take over the full sales cycle, becoming fully autonomous especially during periods with lower inbound leads.
- Support the Sales team by proactively hunting new leads to build a solid pipeline.
- Take full ownership of the sales process from initial prospecting to closing deals autonomously.
- Identify and engage key decision‑makers to compensate for inbound fluctuations through strong outbound activity.
- Re‑engage with small existing accounts previously managed by Marion and Thomas.
- Perform follow‑ups, identify new stakeholders within these accounts, and hand over qualified opportunities to Marion and Thomas.
- Qualify incoming leads and track their progress in coordination with Account Executives Lucas, Hugo, and Charles.
- Act as a relay to ensure no opportunity falls through the cracks and maintain momentum on strategic deals.
- Reactivate dormant opportunities and follow up with contacts met during trade shows and industry events.
- Turn cold or old leads into fresh business opportunities through consistent and creative reminders.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree student (Business School or equivalent), preferably in the final year (M2).
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales or business development (internship or apprenticeship).
- A true “hunter” mindset: not afraid of the phone and motivated by achieving quantitative targets.
- Mastery of sales/negotiation techniques and ability to quickly master and navigate tools such as HubSpot, Aircall, Notion, Canva, and LinkedIn (social selling platforms).
- Excellent verbal and written communication, autonomy, proactivity, and a strong sense of customer service.
- Rigorous, detail‑oriented, and adaptable to a fast‑paced environment.
- Native or fluent French and professional English (capable of conducting a sale in English).
Benefits
- Mobility package.
- Swile meal card: €9/day.
- 2–3 sports sessions/month.
- Regular team events and a company retreat.
- Referral bonus.
What’s in it for you
- Comprehensive training in the sales profession within an ambitious startup, with exposure to the entire sales cycle.
- Direct mentoring from Laurine to build skills in negotiation and commercial strategy.
