INSERM U1068 in Marseille is seeking a dedicated researcher to investigate the early mechanisms of breast tumorigenesis using lineage-tracing, 3D organoid models, and mouse xenografts.

You will work in the Epithelial Stem Cells and Cancer team, applying CRISPR-based screens, confocal imaging, and flow cytometry to characterize epithelial cell models and contribute to advancing breast cancer biology.

Qualifications

• Organoid culture and maintenance.
• Orthotopic implantation of grafts into the mammary gland.
• Monitoring and follow-up of transplanted animals.
• Tissue collection and processing, including histological and flow cytometry analyses.
• Confocal microscopy imaging and analysis.
• Implementation and execution of CRISPR-based functional screens.

Responsabilités

• Investigate the early events driving breast tumor initiation and progression.
• Use lineage-tracing models and 3D organoid cultures to study tumor transformation.
• Apply CRISPR-based functional screens and advanced microscopy to characterize models.
• Collaborate with the Epithelial Stem Cells and Cancer team at CRCM, Marseille.
