Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research organization and seeks experienced brand designers to define what excellent work looks like. You will design task-specific grading criteria and provide scoring with rigorous written justifications.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in high-end brand work, agency background, and strong written critique. This is a rigor-focused role assessing quality across brand identity systems, logos, and visual assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in brand, visual, or graphic design.
• Experience at world-class independent brand and design agencies (e.g., Pentagram, Wolff Olins, Landor, Collins, IDEO).
• Deep fluency in typography, layout, color, and brand identity systems.
• Exceptional written communication explaining design critique clearly.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with peer calibration and feedback.

Responsabilités

• Design precise, task-specific grading criteria for real-world brand design deliverables.
• Score AI-generated and human work samples against those criteria, with written justifications.
• Apply consistent, evidence-based judgment so scores are reproducible and defensible.
• Incorporate structured feedback from senior reviewers and iterate quickly on your work.
