InSpek in DocCity Suresnes, near Paris, seeks a Bioprocess Engineer to beta test photonic probes in real bioprocess conditions, running small-scale fermentations and monitoring temperature, pH and DO. You will generate well-labelled data to train AI models and support calibration efforts.

The role combines biotechnology and photonics, offering hands-on lab work, documentation, and collaboration across hardware, software, and data teams. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bioprocessing experience.
• Experience operating bioreactors in batch and fed-batch modes.
• Routine lab operations and aseptic techniques.
• Inventory management and PPE awareness.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Familiarity with cGMP and analytical methods.

Responsabilités

• Beta test photonic probes in real bioprocess conditions.
• Run small-scale fermentations and monitor key parameters.
• Calibrate sensors and generate high-quality data.
• Document results with traceability for AI model training.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Collaborate with hardware/software teams on improvements.
