Certara accelerates the potential of medicines by providing biosimulation software, technology, and services to drug discovery and development. The Senior Director will lead strategy to build scalable partnerships within the biopharma investment ecosystem, driving new-logo acquisition and revenue growth.

The role requires senior relationship development with venture capital, PE firms, accelerators, and investment banks, along with cross-functional orchestration to maximize Certara's services

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive commercial, business development, strategic partnerships, or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, business, economics, finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical development ecosystem and emerging biopharma companies.
• Demonstrated experience developing senior relationships within venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
• Experience with accelerators, incubators, or related organizations.
• Proven track record translating strategic relationships into measurable commercial growth.

Responsabilités

• Build strategic partnerships with high-value biopharma investment organizations.
• Create commercial opportunities from partner relationships to engage with biopharma companies.
• Drive growth by generating pipeline and new business across Certara's services and software.
• Coordinate with regional Account teams and global Portfolio teams to execute opportunities.
• Develop repeatable partnership strategies and playbooks scalable across the region.
• Provide market intelligence on investment trends and development priorities.
• Position Certara as a trusted partner within the biopharma ecosystem.
